With the busiest time of the year upon us and our small team working flat out to process and ship orders, we wanted to give you all an update on delivery and stock levels.

Firstly it is important that customers ( including those who have dealt with us for some time ) to acquaint themselves with our shipping policy which can be found here :

This ensures that everyone's expectations can be met. 

Our objective when starting Khaki & Green Books was to improve the availability and value of often hard to get Military History & Wargaming products and provide a place where people in Australia & New Zealand could order competitive priced items with confidence.

Being in the antipodes provides a unique set of supply chain challenges for dealing with manufacturers who are nearly exclusively based in Europe and the UK and as we grow and learn, our team will get better at forecasting which products to stock in depth locally.

We also like to apologise for some issues with our automated email system, which saw some customers have their notification flagged as spam by their ISP and not delivered. This took longer to identify and fix than we would have liked, and shouldn’t be an issue going forward.

Anyway, without further delay here are the latest updates…

AIRFIX

We have received our last resupply for the year and whilst there are gaps in the range our local stock is strong and available.

WARGAMES ILLUSTRATED

The December issue was mishandled by our express freight company and was delayed in Singapore. They have cleared customs and should be with us Friday, seeing subscriptions posted next week.

WARLORD GAMES

We are basically out of stock of everything except BOLT ACTION which is selling out fast, we will be receiving one further delivery from the Australian distributor before Christmas, however special orders from the UK will not arrive until the New Year.

We will be keeping more BOLT ACTION in stock locally as we have been overwhelmed by the demand in the last few months.

RUBICON

The problem child of our product line up, with outstandingly great products, yet the supply chain for Rubicon is flaky to say the least, most items ( with the exception of the German range ) are in stock, however are selling fast.

VICTRIX

We have experienced amazing demand for these miniatures, partly due to our competitive pricing because of our direct relationship with the manufacturer, however the last delivery for the year is expected this week, with the next mid January 2025.

THE ARMY PAINTER

We have very strong local stock of these excellent paints and tools and receive fortnightly resupplies from the Australian distributor. Apart from the Christmas closing, no problems with these products. Although yet again we have to remind customers that any order that includes aerosols has to ship via road transport and so delivery will always take longer.

ICKYSTICKY

An excellent local Australian adhesive and hobby tool manufacturer, we always stock their products locally and apart from the Christmas closedown anticipate no problems with this range.

MILITARY HISTORY BOOKS
Always tricky when not in stock locally, with vastly extended delivery times from the Australian distributors we deal with the UK distributors when we can. This means we can get accurate delivery times and new releases often months before they are available from the Australian distributors. Our last delivery from Bloomsbury has shipped and should arrive late this week, early next week… with a much anticipated supply of the BOLT ACTION 3rd edition rulebooks, seeing stability with that product.
